This is a comprehensive site that has a lot of helpful information and gay resources. Accessing the site is easy, it loads without errors or delays. The content is organized in an easy to navigate manner, it's not over-whelming and cluttered although there is a lot of information.

The page headers include local resources for gays, such at business, real estate, crime and health. There are pages on national and political related topics to keep readers informed. The arts and entertainment page covers various upcoming events. The site includes a media, opinion and classified tab.

Each page is very well laid out with a list of article headings and a one line description. The titles are big and bright, but not too flashy. All article titles tested worked very well when clicked on, and there was no lag time between page transitions. The information in the articles is current and extremely informative. You can share the resources found on the site with others on FaceBook or Twitter and there is an RSS Feed available.

A nice feature on the WashingtonBlade gay news source site is the search bar and the archives located on the top of each page. This makes searching for specific info quick and easy.

At the time of this review the archives drop down menu dates as far back as July of 2010, which gives readers access to a lot of information that they may have missed.

Along the bottom of each page is a well organized list of categories, and more importantly the Contact Us button takes you to a page with real contact information. There is a phone number and fax, and all contacts are listed by title and include a name, email address and ext. number which builds credibility.

Over all this is a great resource for gays, it is organized and not bombarded with advertisements. The content offers value to readers and everything works smoothly. There were no errors, no lags and readability was excellent.
